AJ Shortley
AJ has lived in the Atlanta area since he was five years old. While studying for a bachelor’s degree in finance, he realized he spent much more money and time with books on spirituality, theology, bible, and history. This realization was AJ’s initial sense of call to vocational ministry. He has been involved in ministry since 2008 when he began volunteering with a local college and young singles community.
Pastor Shortley earned a Master of Divinity (M.Div) and a Master of Theology (Th.M) from Columbia Theological Seminary in 2017 and 2018 – and has had the blessing of serving a number of churches in the Atlanta area, as well as serving as a chaplain in various settings. AJ is deeply passionate about the God who is limitless Love, revealed most especially in the still-living person and Spirit of Jesus of Nazareth.
AJ and his wife Lindsey have two beloved Australian Shepherds, and they love to go mountain biking, hiking, swimming, and anything that is outdoors, in the endless beauty of nature.
