Church in the Tetons was the first and only place Paul and I visited after moving to the valley from northern Nevada in 2023. Lazy? Might seem that way. Actually the solid teaching we heard and the warm welcome and offers of friendship we received helped us realize we had found our spiritual home and family. Paul’s job as a mining engineer had us moving to small rural towns all across the West as we were raising our family. Church was mostly whatever was nearby, so that we could raise our four children in the faith alongside other local families. So, I’m quite comfortable with all the ways Christians worship our great God. One of my favorite days of the week here is Wednesday, when I go to a Bible study with women from many different churches in the valley. It’s my great pleasure to serve as worship elder, making sure sure all the pieces of our worship service are up and running. My guiding principle is to ensure that each service reflects our mission statement to be biblically grounded, Christ centered, gospel shaped and mission focused. I’m helped in that process by a dedicated committee of five. Call me any time!
