Val Copyak
Faith is at the center of my life. Wherever I have lived weather New Hampshire,
Massachusetts, Oklahoma, California, or Idaho God has led me to a church family.
I was raised in a Congregational Church in Mason, New Hampshire and have been
active in church my entire life, singing in junior and then senior choirs and serving in various
church positions. I met my husband Bob Copyak at a Presbyterian mission meeting held in
Pocatello in 2009 and have been involved with CiT since then. I’ve served as
CiT treasurer, and on the CiT Administrative Committee, as well as on the Mission
Committee, Worship Committee, Congregational Life Committee and as a Deacon. I’ve taught Sunday School and Confirmation classes. Prior to meeting Bob, I was a
member of Rigby Presbyterian Church for more than thirty years where I sang in the
choir and served as an Elder. For the Kendall Presbytery I have served on the Camp
Sawtooth Board , on the Justice Committee, and on the Public Relations committee.
I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as an Elder.
